Year 1 Termly Update
Year 1 are going potty about potatoes this term!
Our Science learning is all about plants and we are learning what plants need to survive, how they grow and what the parts of a plant are called. We’re conducting experiments about plant growth, we’re hunting down plants and recording our finds but the most exciting thing is that we are growing, growing, growing BEAUTIFUL PLANTS!
Whilst not so pretty yet, these lovely old potatoes have gone in the ground this week and it won’t be long before we’re digging up some new tatties for our homemade chippies!
