Fox and Owl class have enjoyed the story ‘Katie in Scotland’ as part of their learning about our United Kingdom where they meet ‘Nessie’ the Loch Ness Monster and explore the sights in Edinburgh.  We decided to set our Design & Technology challenge to design and make a model vehicle to travel around the city.  The children have learnt about the parts of a vehicle, the chassis, axle and wheel and explored the parts of a Go Kart!  Our models have a moving axle and fixed wheels and we carefully considered how to decorate them to ‘stand out from the crowd.’  What do you think of our designs?
