What a fantastic and fiery week at Forest School last week! The Year 2 children, with some brilliant help from the Year 6 assistants, learned all about fire safety before getting to try out some real-life fire-starting. They used flint and steel to create amazing sparks and then, with great care, lit their own mini-fires using a cotton wool ball. It was a huge success and so much fun for everyone!
