Year 3 have been exceptionally lucky this week as they were visited by Mr Avery, a music specialist.

They enjoyed an assembly, in which they learnt to sing in harmony.  

They sounded amazing!

Flamingo Class and Manta Ray Class also participated in a music workshop where they learnt to play the djembe drums!  They learnt about the origin of the instrument from Africa and learnt different ways to play it and make different sounds through the vibrations.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the workshop.
