Forest School Update

Bread on a Stick & Magical Wand Making

With the cooler breeze, we fired up the base camp! We discovered that all you really need for a perfect outdoor snack is a fire, some bread dough, a piece of greenwood, and a whole lot of patience. The wait was worth it—our freshly baked bread on a stick was absolutely delicious on its own, and even better with a generous dollop of butter and garlic butter!

Because Leopard Class missed their session last week, they came back with double the energy and absolutely showed off their incredible whittling skills. They safely used their tools to craft some truly magical wands!

EYFS Stay & Play Session

On Thursday, we welcomed our wonderful EYFS families for a special Stay & Play! We balanced high-energy fun with some beautiful, calming nature crafts:

  • Calming Crafts: Leaf rubbing, mud painting, and getting creative with clay.

  • Active Adventures: The digging hole and the climbing tree were massive hits!

  • The Big Favorite: Nothing could beat the forest swing—there were smiles all around!

Of course, no Forest School session is complete without a sweet treat. We finished the day by gathering together to toast marshmallows over the campfire.

Check out our photos below to see the bread-making, wand-whittling, and muddy smiles in action!
