Forest School Update
Our woodland has been buzzing with adventure, learning, and some seriously impressive skills. Here is a look at what our amazing outdoor explorers achieved this week:
Crocodile & Leopard Class: Whittling & Campfires!
Our older adventurers have officially become masters of knife skills! Under careful guidance, they confidently whittled greenwood before rewarding themselves with a classic Forest School treat—toasting S’mores over the campfire!
-
Safety First: Their safety knowledge was absolutely brilliant.
-
Growing Confidence: It is wonderful to see their confidence in the outdoor environment grow week by week.
-
A Huge Thank You: Mrs. Cresswell is incredibly proud of all the children, as well as the fantastic teachers and teaching assistants who came out to support them!
Stay & Play Success!
On Thursday, we welcomed our EYFS children and their grown-ups for a wonderful Stay & Play session.
They had a fabulous time exploring the woods, beautifully supported by our fantastic Year 6 pupils, who did a brilliant job guiding our youngest learners.
Nature's Sweet Treats
To top it all off, the bramble bushes were bursting with ripe blackberries! The children loved foraging and enjoying a sweet, fresh snack (after a thorough wash, of course!).
