Welcome back to a new year of Forest School and outdoor learning!

We kicked off the term with Year 2 (Butterfly and Dragonfly Class), who did a fantastic job alongside our wonderful Year 6 assistants.

Our first week was all about building confidence and refreshing our safety rules to keep everyone safe while exploring: 

Stay safe near the fire: Never enter the fire circle. 

Respect wildlife: Leave everything growing where it is. 

Stay clean: Keep fingers out of mouths while exploring outdoors. 

Know your limits: The Blue Rope means stop/no entry.

Even when the heavens opened on Tuesday and left us thoroughly soaked, nothing could dampen the children's enthusiasm! The swings and climbing tree were firm favorites, and everyone loved warming up with delicious hot chocolate during circle time. 

Thank you to our Year 6 assistants for being brilliant role models and helping make the first week such a success!
