Forest School Update!

Year 2 made the most of this week's gorgeous sunshine as they took on a serious fire-lighting challenge!

The task? Master the Swedish flint & steel to strike a spark and light a cotton wool ball—all while maintaining a safe kneeling position. It was a tough skill to crack, but the children showed incredible patience and resilience trying to get that spark just right.

A big shoutout to our Year 6 Forest School Assistants! Once again, they were absolute stars—guiding, encouraging, and helping the younger children stay safe and confident throughout the session.
