Forest School Update: Week 5!

Our young adventurers took on a real bushcraft challenge this week! They rolled up their sleeves to master square lashings—a key technique for joining wood together at right angles (and yes, they’ve officially added the word "perpendicular" to their vocabulary!).

Using their new lashing skills, the children crafted their very own Stickman characters. To bring them to life, they carefully used peelers to whittle away sections of bark and draw custom faces on their creations.

Their focus, fine motor control, and determination were top-notch. Fantastic work, everyone! 

Parents: Ask your child if they can explain what "perpendicular" means on the walk home today!
