Year 3 enjoyed a fantastic educational visit to Kent Life. 

Throughout the day, the children had the opportunity to learn and immerse themselves in many different features of Roman culture. 

They learned how the Romans changed Britain including; an understanding of roads and aqueducts, the food that they introduced to Britain, how to be a Roman Soldier, tanning and even had an opportunity to meet Boudicca, queen of the Iceni. 

This has been an excellent experience that the children can recall for their future History learning all about Emperors and Empires!
