Mr Holliday and Miss Simmers had the pleasure of taking four Year 5 children up to Westlands Secondary School to compete in a Maths challenge against other schools in our area.

They all did extremely well and the teamwork on show was lovely to see.  They had 4 rounds of questions, as well as a marshmallow and spaghetti tower challenge to complete.  

They ended up with over 100 points altogether and were recognised by the staff there as being a team of independent hard workers who should be very proud of themselves.
