Brrrrr! It was cold this week at Forest School when Fox Class and Owl Class had the opportunity to plant tree saplings. We had Oak, Wild Cherry, Grey Willow ,  Field Maple , Silver Birch  and Rowan Trees to plant. They were only small but in  five years time, they might be as tall as us when we are in Year 6. Our lovely Year 6 assistants were fantastic support, digging deep for us to make the planting easier, they also planted their own saplings. The learning did not stop there! After the planting we got creative with clay, adding natural materials, like conkers, grasses and tree seeds.
