EYFS are mad about Minibeasts!

The children in Hedgehog and Squirrel class have been super busy over the last few weeks finding out all about minibeasts.

They have been going on bug hunts in the outside area where we have found lots of worms, snails, ladybirds and spiders.

We have been finding out interesting facts about different insects such as worms have no bones, the slime slugs leave behind protects them from the hard ground and butterflies taste with their feet.

We have been using our phonic knowledge to write sentences about our favourite minibeast as well as getting creative making junk model bugs, painting butterflies and even decorating ladybird biscuits.

What a fantastic few weeks!
