    Wildflower Seed Planting

    A group of children from Panther Class dug up an area for wildflower seeds to grow, which were kindly donated to us by Swale Lions Club. Charlie B. led the group and they had to dig deep through some tough grass roots before they could scatter them ( T.J., Alfie, Tiffany & Rohan).

    Forest School Term 2 Week 2

    This week it was time for the 2nd groups of Turtle, Meerkat, Jaguar and Panther Class to explore the Forest School site. We moved to Site 1 and are giving Site 2 a well deserved rest. We had rain, wind and sun but that didn't stop all four groups finding their own little adventures.

    This week, the children in Turtle Class taught Mr Colbran how to use a flint & steel set, Logan from Meerkat Class & Kyran from Panther Class proved to be real experts whittling green wood and Jaguar Class had a mud sliding competition.

    Forest School - Week 6

    Forest School - Week 6 Update Look at our cute and crazy stick people. We used sticks and string, tied them together using square lashings, and after that we added a clay head and decorated it with natural materials. Aren't they wonderful?!

    Forest School Update - Week 5

      This week we cooked camp-fire bread. We used long greenwood sticks over the fire to stay safe. Once cooked, we had the choice of plain butter or garlic butter for our bread before we ate it. Yummy!
