Year 1 had a wonderful day out in the woods last week! We travelled in our coach to Shorne Woods Country Park to explore the park and learn about nature!

We followed the map around the park and found the fairy ring, we learnt about the big Yew tree and then created some wonderful forest crafts. 

We even completed a scavenger hunt, learnt to name some trees and other plants and we got a chance to play on the adventure playground.  We learnt how to be safe in the woods and some of us got to see a squirrel, but it was too quick to get a photo!
