Peacock Class Update
Wow, what a busy week we have had in Peacock Class!
The children started the week by continuing our learning about ‘Invasions’, our topic for the term. We made a huge timeline in class and discussed the events that happened in Britain after the Romans withdrew! Watch out, the Vikings will be arriving soon!
In ICT, we learnt about how to stay safe online and not to trust everything we find when using search engines, including pictures! Which links to our ‘Safe’ school rule of, ‘Be a STAR!’.
We referred back to our learning in ICT, when we used Chromebooks to research the Anglo-Saxons for English, to gather information for non-chronological reports.
In PE, we took part in the school intra-community challenge of Speed Bounce. This was quite tricky, however we tried our best and got some amazing results in 20 seconds! We have also been continuing our focus of coordination around footwork and created sequences to follow in our community teams.
Miss Owens & Mrs Head have been incredibly pleased with the homework that has been brought in, here are some of our learning efforts at home! A big thank you to all the adults who have supported the children this week at home!
What a great week Peacock Class! Really well done!
