On Monday, Year 2 visited Kent Life to speak to a significant person that they have been learning about in their History lessons. 

We arrived and were greeted by Florence Nightingale. She told  the children about her life and the work she did. She then let the children practise their nursing skills but letting them bandage up the ‘soldiers'.  

After that, the children had the opportunity to explore the other buildings on the site as well as visit the animals. Ziggy the Guinea Pig was a firm favourite as well as the goats! 

Before returning to school, there was also time for a tractor ride around the site and a quick visit to the park! Everyone had a great day and returned to school smiling!
